4 Matchsticks

I haven’t been diligent in writing so I will just send you a postcard from Bukhara, Uzbekistan.

This is the Chor Minor, which used to be the gatehouse of a long-gone madrassa. Don’t you think it looks like 4 matchsticks? So cute! Tucked in twisted alleys, it is my favourite of the chocolate box of old gems in Bukhara.

That photo was taken yesterday. Today has been overcast and it just started raining again. Rain near the desert! All the same, rain makes me feel extra sensitive. Tomorrow I will be leaving Bukhara reluctantly.
