Collective improvisation

Collective improvisation means you do what you want to do as long as you are not in the way of somebody else doing what they want to do. So that limits a lot of what you can do. It means you learn to listen as hard as you talk. Now when you talk it’s easy to be very very expressive. But it’s much more difficult to be expressive when you are listening.
