Simple pleasures

Little white pillows on slivers of pandan leaf. Fresh off the steamer. Light, simple and warm.

Kueh tutu – a unique snack in Singapore made of rice flour filled with shredded coconut or peanut that is steam cooked.

I do like these quite a lot and puttu piring as well. Just had puttu piring yesterday but haven’t had Kueh Tutu in quite a while. Used to get them at Queensway Shopping Centre.

Mouth watering!! Kind of reminds me of the Penang kuih nyonya, with green colored green pea skin, also coconut filling, sticky and sweet and sooooo delicious!!
